When my ribbons arrived I really did not want to cut them up ~ The one I have used today really caught my eye and can definatly be used all year round ~ I went down a different route than Christmas and made a New home tag.
Using the wonderful

I used some Distress Oxides on the tag
With a few background stamps
I used the Doublet Die and matching stamp for the bird you can find that in the Polkadoodles Store

I also used a few circles of  White Gesso , The Happy New Home stamp was a freebie from a magazine
I doodled around the sentiment and tag edge with a fine micron pen
I finished off with a slice of lace

Crafty Ribbons - Music Ribbon

Happy Friday to you all, here is hoping you all have a great weekend
I have my Granddaughter coming to stay for the weekend, so there is sure to be lots of fun and  giggles along the way.
I am sharing with you a card and tag I made last week, I spotted a card using the same technique on Facebook, but when I went back for another look and to give some credit I could not find it :-(
I had lots of fun making my set and will certainly be making many more of these

The little images are so cute
They are from
Digi Stamp Boutique and are called Penguin Fun Set
You can find them
I cut out the circle holes and dusted around with Distress Inks, and then decorated using the penguin set , I used Graph'It Markers to colour and glitter on the trimmings, but it seems my new camera has an issue with glitter and refuses to play nicely!
I finished off my card center and tag using the wonderful ribbon from
The perfect finishing touch
Thank you for looking

Gnome House & Tag ~ Crafty Ribbons

I so love being part of the Crafty Ribbons DT
We get lots of lush ribbons to play with stroke
While I was deciding on my  project I had Christmas in mind.....
But Then.............
I spotted them  Eeeeeeeekkkkk OMG Gnome Ribbon, Christmas was soon forgotten as I set to work

I made the Gnome House first, I cut it out on my portrait using red and white card stock
and then used the following
Gnome Ribbon - Mushroom ~ around the base
Gnome Ribbon - Garden Gnomes ~ for cut out Gnomes (can you spot the nosy one peeping out the door)

I added a few die cuts and ladybird stamps and my little house was complete

I then made my tag ~ also cut out on my portrait
The ribbons I used for this are
Gnome Ribbon - Mushroom ~ around the base
5mm Gingham red/white ~for the top of tag

For the tag background I used Distress Oxides, and doodles round with a black micron pen. I die cut a few tiny flowers, painted them and then used Liquid pearls in the centers
I did a few circles using white Gesso and an old water spray lid (knew it would come in handy)

The Gnome is called Pete and is from Make it Crafty, he is  a real cute cheeky chappie. I coloured him up with Graph'It Markers.

Winnie White Christmas - CAS Trio of Cards

Hi to you all I am back for another day of the launch party
There have been so many lush projects using the amazing goodies.
Today I am sharing with you my nightmare CAS cards , I normally try to fill every possibly space no matter what I am making.
But......... I really enjoyed making these cards I used the Design sheets from the
download kit

I cut them all out some bits I popped on with pinflair glue to get some depth , I also gave the pressie a black shadow with card stock.
All layered up using black card, not a colour I would usually use for Christmas but I think it worked
I adore the buntings in this collection so,so cute
